Disillusion and joys
Today, I m going to try speaking english, for my new readers. The last 24 hours were very particular. Definitively the day I met most new-zeland people, and a day with up, and down...
It began thanks to hitch-hiking (auto-stop). Yesterday I have been taken 3 times and each time I met were very nice, open-minded persons and it was a real pleasure travelling with them.
But I have to say I knew two bad experiences as well : the first one with the weather; I planned to stay in Turangi, to make a famous trekking called Tongariro Crossing but when I arrived yesterday, it was so bad that I decided not to stay and took a bus to go away. And after, when I arrived in Palmerston North, after one hour I was looking for an hostal, I felt on the BBH -le principal reseau d auberge de jeunesse du pays- hostal, but the the owner was so unpleasant that I left immediatly. I was very disappointed, it was 6.30 pm but I could not stay there. So I took again the road while raising the inch, in spite of the rain, the wind and the late hour.
This is at this time I met Robert. After taking me in his car, he proposed me to come and stay in his family for the night. It is like that I spent the first evening with a new zealander family. Robert and Simone -in spite of the name not a french couple :-)- live in a very charmant house, in a small town whose nice name is "Levin". Thanks a lot for your host, I have been really touched by your welcoming and generosity. It was a very pleasant evening, I appreciated playing frisbee -yes, Goulven, they launch the skud in New Zealand too! :-)- and when you ll come in 2010 in Europe you will be welcome in my house.
Now I m in Wellington, thanks to Steve, a scientist who came here passing and interview.
The weather does not arrange but I m very happy of my life. I enjoy a lot living like that, always meeting new persons, always travelling, without know what is the next step, where I m going to sleep, where I will be in one week, in one day and even in one hour.. :-) Each day is so different from an other one. This morning I wake up early so it is fantastic because I have the whole day in order to discover this new town! Life is beautiful!
Have a good day everybody and see you soon!
PS: thanks a lot for all your comments and messages. I can t answer to each but it makes really hot in the heart, especially in this approaching period of Christmas.
